My name is Jeanine Beau and I’m a registered nurse working in the local hospital with also a degree ‘Sports, Outdoorsport & Nutrition’ in the pocket.
My sport background comes from competition swimming, handball, hockey, fitness and alpint skiing. I got introduced to Crossfit through a box competition that was given on a box in my hometown in Norway. After watching these athletes putting their effort in it, I got hooked on the sport. And I’m can still enjoy every minute of it. I have been competing in Crossfit on high level individual, but also in team competitions both local and international. Judge courses have been followed due to the Open and workshops from different Crossfit/weightlifting athletes have I attendant. I have been coaching and training in Norway and in Spain and for a little while now, here on Bonaire.
Crossfit is a kind of training that gives me challenges and a high dose of accomplishment, which comes through the variation of the training and the combination of strength and conditioning. This kind of training can be adjusted to every person with their fitness level and triggers both the mindset and the physical aspect of the body.
My love for weightlifting started when I won a lift competition with heaviest weight Clean and Jerk. After this, my fascination for lifting overwon the hunger for Crossfit WOD’s. That’s why I’m more focused on weightlifting and accessory work with my own programming. Give me a workout with heavy barbells combined with swimming and we are forever best buds.
I got a lot of energy back through coaching and I have a big passion to give athletes a piece of my energy. I wish to let them experience a feeling of progression, safety and training joy.
